Afrifounders Venture Fellowship
Built for serious people This program is free to join, but it demands discipline, ownership, character, and the capacity to execute at a high level.
About the Fellowship

Not a course. Not an internship. A real venture leadership pipeline.

Afrifounders Venture Fellowship exists to identify, train, and deploy the next generation of venture leaders who can build, run, and scale real businesses within the Afrifounders ecosystem.

Learn by building

Fellows learn inside live businesses, not simulations. Every phase of the fellowship is tied to practical work, execution, and measurable outcomes.

Mentored by operators

Participants gain direct access to founders, operators, and mentors who have built products, led teams, sold services, and grown businesses across sectors.

Built for long term growth

The fellowship has a clear end, but the relationship does not. Top fellows may continue into venture leadership roles, profit sharing paths, or long term positions.

Why AVF Stands Out

Hands-on business and leadership education through real experiences.

This program is designed for a different calibre of applicant. Every part of the experience, from mentorship to screening, structure, and communication, reflects seriousness, accountability, and class.

Real ecosystem access Fellows engage real ventures, real systems, and real market opportunities inside the Afrifounders network.
Selective entry Recommendation first, then rigorous evaluation through application, aptitude screening, video response, and final interview.
Structured growth path Training phase, apprenticeship phase, venture assignment, then deeper responsibility with clear progression.
High accountability Fellows are expected to think clearly, communicate well, take ownership, and deliver measurable work.

Recommendation Form

Recommend someone you genuinely trust.

The recommendation stage matters. A candidate may be considered partly on the strength and credibility of the person recommending them. Please only recommend someone you believe has the discipline, character, intelligence, and work ethic to thrive in a demanding environment.

Important note Because recommendations influence our review process, every recommender should be sure about the person they are putting forward. We may contact both parties during screening.
Recommendations submitted through this form will be reviewed by the Afrifounders team as part of the first stage of the fellowship selection process.
